About

WHO AM I?

In short, I am a recent graduate.  I have decided to stay as anonymous as I possibly can on this blog. I'm not good at keeping secrets, so I am prepared for having my cover blown in the near future. I am using this site as a tool to track my financial successes (and errors) in terms of dealing with my student loan debt.

As of this moment, July 7, 2020, I current owe my estranged family member, Uncle Sam, a total of $64,047.

<sarcasm>Yippee</sarcasm>.

I want to make this journey public and somewhat of an inspiration to others. This blog will focus on many things: What do I do to track my debt? What is my salary? What am I starting off with? What are my short-term goals? What methods am I using?

I do want to throw in this disclaimer:

I understand is that my journey will not be your journey.

There are some privileges that I have in my ability to conquer student loan debt that others might not have. When you have the proper weapons to take on a challenge, it is a little less scary than it would be for somebody who does not have the same access to these weapons when going into battle. Never compare your life track to that of others

This debt is crippling for so many graduates. So ultimately, I am starting this page for documentation of my journey, but I am looking forward to helping others in the long run.
